This fantastic illustration was found in an old book on anatomy and osteology, published in 1733. The illustration depicts the skeletons of a bird and a snake in a fight, unfortunately I couldn't find the specific species described with text in the book, and have to settle for "bird and snake". If you know what kind of bird and snake it is, please write to me so I can get it corrected/added.
